oh yeah! another week for me to do nothing else but write my Thesis

Just to give you an example of what sorts of things I'm writing about.

"The nations of Asia and Africa are moving with jetlike speed toward gaining political independence, but we still creep at horse-and-buggy pace toward gaining a cup of coffee at a lunch counter" (King 81).

"...when you are humiliated day in and day out by nagging signs reading 'white' and 'colored'; when your first name becomes 'nigger,' your middle name becomes 'boy' (no matter how old you are) and your last name becomes 'John' [...]" (King 81).

"Kennedy believed that at the moment the most effective aid he could give the Negro was economic. His backers argued that a formal civil rights legislative program that would alienate Congressional support from basic economic measures benefiting the whole nation could only harm the Negro" (Markmann 325).
